Brick Stars Are Gearing up for the 2013/2014 Season - 7/23/13
The Brick Stars are getting ready to start the 2013/2014 season for 21 weeks. Every Sunday starting September 15 through February 24 at 8:30am to 9:30am located at Ocean Ice Palace. Check out information regarding registration right here : www.brickstarshockey.webs.com
The Brick Stars participated in their very first International Hockey Tournament - The Can/Am Challenge Cup in Lake Placid, New York in April 2013. They were asked to participate in the Torch Lighting in the opening ceremonies. See photos included in this post.
On Tuesday July 23, The Brick Stars were invited to skate between an Alumni Brick Hockey Club game to honor & retire James van Riemsdyk’s Hockey Jersey, a former player of the Brick Hockey Club, who is currently playing for the NHL Toronto Maple Leafs and also to honor former NHL player & Brick Hockey Club Alumni Jim Dowd.
An exciting season is just ahead with “special” hockey games. Be sure to watch of future fundraisers such as Dine to Donate which will be held sometime in October as well as the annual Avon Pond Winter Classic held in February.
