Interfaith Food Pantry’s 9th Annual Morris Township Thanksgiving 5k Turkey Trot! - 9/16/15
The Interfaith Food Pantry has once again teamed up with the Literacy Volunteers of Morris County to present their 9th Annual Morris Township Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot!
The 5k, 1 mile fun walk/run and Kids’ Trot will benefit the fight against hunger. Proceeds will also help the Literacy Volunteers of Morris County to promote literacy throughout the county. The Turkey Trot raises enough money to provide 200 literacy students with one year of instruction, and supply 50 families of four with food for one year.
Over 2,000 people will head out on Thanksgiving morning for the annual Turkey Trot, on Thursday, November 26, 2015. The even will take place at Ginty Field in Morris Township, NJ, with the race kicking off at 8:30am sharp.
