Heart of a Hero Scholarship Recipient’s Painting is up for the 2015 BP Portrait Award - 3/6/15

James Raczkowski, a recipient of the 2013 Heart of a Hero Scholarship, has been pushed through to the second round of judging in the National Portrait Gallery’s BP Portrait Award!
James’s painting Fallen (pictured below) was submitted along with nearly 5,000 other entries. His painting has made it to the next round with only 475 others. First prize for the prestigious award is a cash award of £30,000 and the possibility of a commission agreement between the National Portrait Gallery and the winning artist.
